Marjorie Evans Watson

Funeral services for Marjorie Evans Watson, age 89 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Watson was born on November 8, 1927 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Elijah and Edna Walker Evans. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William H.J. Watson. She was retired from The Department of Veterans Affairs where she was a payroll officer. Mrs. Watson passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at Providence Health in Columbia, SC. She is survived by her her daughter, Jeanelle W. Swaney of Columbia, SC, and a son, Lehman J. Watson of Kathleen. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
