Martha Madge Sheppard Brantley

Funeral services for Martha Madge Sheppard Brantley, age 88, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 27, 2022, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Rev. Danny Turner, Rev. Kelly Maddox and Rev. Don Hicks will officiate. Mrs. Brantley was born September 29, 1933, in Dublin, Georgia. She was a retired nurse at Fairview Park Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley Herbert Sheppard Sr. and Avis Lorene Keen Sheppard, her husband James Ervin Brantley, sisters, Anne Mae Sheppard Mason, Esther Sheppard Senn, Opal Sheppard Slappey, Nell Sheppard Daniels, Patsy Sheppard Mimbs Tenhoor and Johnnie Faye Sheppard Graham and brother Wesley Herbert Sheppard, Jr. Mrs. Brantley passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022, in Scott Health and Rehab. She was survived by her children, James David (Brenda) Brantley of Swainsboro, Debra Jean "Jeanne" Brantley of Dublin, and Donald Richard (Dana) Brantley of Dublin, sisters, Wanza Sheppard Soles and Mary Sheppard Underwood of Dublin, grandchildren, Jamie Canady, Scott Anderson, Melissa Mullis, Clint Luecke, Nick Luecke, Eric Luecke, Josh Brantley, Amanda Register, Brandon Brantley, and Michael Carroll, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Clint Luecke, Nick Luecke, Eric Luecke, Josh Brantley, Brandon Brantley, Michael Carroll, Kyle Register, Steve Graham, and Scott Anderson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Widows Oil Ministry, 725 Manning Dr, Dublin, GA 31027 Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
