Funeral services for Marvin Mitchell Page, Jr., age 73, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 21, 2021, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with burial with military honors to follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Barron Powell will officiate. Mr. Page was born October 17, 1948, in Savannah, Georgia, where he was a member of the Chevis Oaks Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Viney Page, Sr. Mr. Page passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Ann Boyles Page of Dexter, children, Marvin Mitchell Page, III of Dexter, Christy (Jeff) Porter of Dublin, and Jennifer Leigh (James) Wood of Dexter, sister, Patricia Diane Shannon of Nicholson, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
