Mary Sue Godfrey

Graveside services for Mary Sue Godfrey, age 57, will be held at 2:00 P.M. January 10, 2021 in Bay Springs Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Peggy Sapp will officiate. Ms. Godfrey was born on August 18, 1963 in Sandersville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Cutie and Martha Godfrey of Oconee. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin Godfrey and Jewell Godfrey. Ms. Godfrey passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at home. She is survived by her siblings, Margaret (Marvin) Cooper of Wrightsville, Faye (Troy) Foskey of Oconee, Dorothy Godfrey of East Dublin, Robert Godfrey of Oconee, and Wayne Godfrey of Harrison, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel. Social Distancing guidelines will be in effect and mask will be required by those attending as we are following the guidelines of the local health district and the CDC. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
