Mary Francis Fountain Hobbs

Funeral services for Mary Francis Fountain Hobbs, age 67 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 22, 2026, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Joey Diers will officiate.

Mrs. Hobbs was born October 31, 1958, in Eastman, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Cleo Jones and Pauline West Jones. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sammie Lynn Mullis. She was of the Baptist Faith. She retired from Bassett Furniture. Mrs. Hobbs passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mrs. Hobbs is survived by her husband, James Issac Hobbs of East Dublin; a son, Sammy Joe Fountain, Jr. (Brandi) of Twin City; a daughter, Angel Marie Fountain (Mitch) of Dublin; a brother, Jimmie Ray Jones (Sarah) of Chester; a sister, Syble Horne (Troy Hackle) of East Dublin; 8 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Friday, Mary 22, 2026 at the funeral home.
