Mary Linda Lake

Funeral services for Mary Linda Lake, age 79 will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, June 15, 2019 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tommy Veal and Rev. Gregg Soles will officiate. Mrs. Lake was born October 12, 1939 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late George and Berta Braddock Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Tim Pipkin, 2 sisters, Elwanda Thomas Brown, and Doris Thomlinson,2 brothers, Alva Thomas, and Printice Thomas. She was retired from J.P. Stevens and Company. She was the co-owner of LynJoi. She was a member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lake passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Medical Center of Navicent Health. Mrs. Lake is survived by her husband, Emory Lake of East Dublin, a son, Dwayne (Gay) Lake of East Dublin, 2 daughters, Hersha Lake Pipkin of Savannah and Sheila (Kevin) Soles of Bishop, a brother, Albert Richard (Jeanie) Thomas of Niceville, FL, 7 grandchildren, Adam Lake, Krissie Pipkin (Preston) Laird, Misti Lake, Shae (Randy) Deloach, Haley (Roy) Anderson, Charlee Lake, and Emily Soles, and 4 great-grandchildren, Mary Leighton Laird, Madelyn Laird, Owen Deloach, and Waylon Deloach. Pallbearers will be Ted Calhoun, Jerry Calhoun, Ira Warnock, Al Williams, Claude Vines, and Keith Warnock. Mr. John Sheppard will serve as a Honorary Pallbearer. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
