Mary Janelle Tingle Smith

Graveside funeral services for Mary Janelle Tingle Smith, 90, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Pleasant Springs United Methodist Church in Bartow. Mrs. Smith was born March 13, 1932, in Tennille, Georgia to the late Andrew Jackson Tingle and Ruby Duggan Tingle. She was a former inspector for Apparel Craft Manufacturing Co. and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband S.T. Smith and her brother Earl Tingle. Mrs. Smith passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at her home after an extended illness. She is survived by her 3 children Nathan Smith (Jennifer), Melisa Cowart and Melanie Smith, sister Faye Brantley, brothers Curtis Tingle and Carlton Tingle, grandchildren Savannah Smith, Nicholas Smith, Katie Smith, Candace Roberts and Christopher Cowart, and great grandchildren Avah Martin, Chesnie Roberts, Paislee Smith, Jaxson Braswell, Caylin Braswell and Connor Cowart. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
