Mary Hadden Spence

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Mary Edna Blizzard Hadden Spence, age 82, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Westview Cemetery with Mr. Thurmon Foskey officiating. Mrs. Spence was June 9, 1933 in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry Franklin Blizzard and Bessie Garrett Blizzard and her first husband, Daniel Grayson Hadden. She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church in Smarr, Georgia and she was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Starr. She was formerly employed as the Activities Director at Forsyth Nursing Home. Mrs. Spence passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015. Mrs. Spence is survived by her husband, Joe Spence of Martinez, a son, Daniel Grayson (Arlene) Hadden, Jr. of Forsyth, a daughter, Yvonne Hadden (Bob) Allen of Martinez, a sister, Martha Blizzard (Jack) Parsons of Vidalia, four grandchildren, Daniel Grayson Hadden, III, Amanda Allen Littleton, Michael Lee Hadden and Adam Christopher Allen and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 15, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements. .
