Mary Ella Ussery

Funeral services for Mary Ella Blount Ussery, age 92 will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Northview Cemetery. Dr. Joel Dent and Rev. Wes Moye will officiate. Mrs. Ussery was born on February 4, 1923 in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the later Augustus and Susie Caneega Blount. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Ussery. She was a retired clerk for Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church. She also attended First Baptist Church from time to time. Mrs. Ussery passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Ussery is survived by her sister-in-law, Phyllis D. Blount of Byron, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers will be Shawn Blount, Keith Blount, Jeffrey Blount, Brittley Blount, Autumn Blount, and Shep Ladson. The family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. until 12:45 P.M. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
