Matthew Allen Klemens

Matthew Allen Klemens, age 23, earned his angel wings on July 20th, 2023 after an extended illness at Atrium Health in Macon, Ga. Being known for his contagious laugh his outgoing personality, and his comedic outbursts, Matthew is going to be forever remembered and loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. Whether it was his family, coworkers or even customers at Walmart, which was his first and only job for the last four years, Matt made a difference to all of those he spoke to. Matthew was greeted in heaven by his baby sister Ashley Marie Klemens and his two maternal grandfathers H. James Morrell and David Micheal Allen. Matthew's legacy of comedy, Dungeons and Dragons, video games, Game of Thrones and love of all things electronic will be lived on in the hearts of his family; Mother, Stacey Morrell, Maternal Grandmother Elaine Allen, Brother Christopher (Danielle Martin) Klemens, Sister Leslie (Eddie Brantley) McNamara all of Wrightsville, Georgia, Sister Kayla Klemens, Cousin Samantha (Kristofer Stallworth) Spence, Aunt Christi (James) Flannigan all of Titusville, Florida, Nieces Elaina McNamara and Ruby Griffey and Nephews Noah Klemens, Shaun Brantley, Tyler Brantley and Matthew Brantley and last but not least, by numerous friends who had become family including, Chase and Jordan Braswell and Cade Hall.

Family will be receiving friends and anyone whom Matthew impacted from 3-5pm on Sunday, July 23rd at Stanley Funeral Home in Dublin, GA. A celebration of his amazing life will be held at the family home, 582 JD Garnto Rd, Wrightsville, GA, on Saturday, July 29th at 6pm for a casual sunset service. Anyone is encouraged and welcomed to come honor Matthew's life.
