Mattie Mae Johnson

Funeral service for Ms. Mattie Mae Johnson, age 77 will be held Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory in Dublin, with burial to follow in the Pleasant Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Curtis Lysaker will officiate. Ms. Johnson was born September 4, 1942 in Montrose, Georgia to the late Tom Miller and Alma White Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband Homer Johnson. She died Sunday, December 29, 2019. Ms. Johnson is survived by daughter Jackie Collins of Dublin, by sister Cherry Ann Graham of Rockledge, by brother Jimmy Miller of Tacoma, Washington, by six grandchildren, and by numerous great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kelvin Foskey, James Rainey, Dawson Knight, Kirk Mason, Don Wynn, and Eric Mason. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
