Mattie Lois grew up in Kite, Georgia where she met and married Larry Marsh. Wasn't long before she became a mother and that fulfilled her life joy. She enjoyed being a mother and loved her kids. Larry wanted her to be able to stay home with the kids while he worked. Later she became a grandmother and that was the icing on the cake for her. She loved those grand babies. She spent her life loving her kids and grandkids. She had one living sister, Eloise Soles Jackson, that she loved dearly. Her last days were hard, and she didn't get to spend it with family as she should have but none the less she was loved and taken care of. Mattie Lois passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at her residence.

She is survived by her children, Larry Marsh, Jr. and Lisa Marsh; grandchildren, Jessica Marsh (Chris), Haley Gold (Trent), Cody Phillips (Maci), Katie Gold (Christian), and Tyler Phillips; great grandchildren, Colton McKee, Daniel McKee, Rylee Phillips, Maddie Cooper, Waylon Phillips, Karson Girvin, Lyric Girvin, Rhett Cooper and Mylee Faith Smith; sister, Eloise Soles Jackson; brother-in-law Leland Tapley; sister-in-law, Sandra Marsh; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. on Saturday at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory in Wrightsville, Georgia.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Phillips, Cody Philips, Trent Brown, Christian Smith, Chris Cooper, Clayton Soles, and Lloyd Slater.
