Michael Hunter Harper

Graveside funeral services for Michael Hunter Harper, age 69 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Dexter Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev Calvin Halcomb will officiate.

Mr. Harper was born on September 12, 1955 in Montrose, Georgia. He was the son of the late Hershel M. Harper and Mary Riggs Harper.  He was also preceded in death by his adoptive mother; Claudette Lunsford Harper. He was retired Blue Print Operator for Ridgeways. Mr. Harper passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mr. Harper is survived by his sister, Kathryn Pingel of Orange Park, FL; a niece, Kristen (Scott) Moreland of Green Cove Springs, FL; a nephew, Tim (Denise) Pingel of King of Prussia, PA; a great-niece, Emily Pingel; 2 great nephews, Daniel Moreland and Andrew Pingel, and numerous cousins.
