A private family only graveside service for Michael Dwayne Hill, age 68, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 22, 2021, in the Minter Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith Smith officiating.
Mr. Hill was born April 16, 1953, in Treutlen, County. He worked and retired with 30 plus years as a firefighter with the Dublin City Fire Department. He was a member of the Dublin Main Street Players and actively involved member of "The Nutcracker" for the last ten years. He was a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church and loved his church family. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Berniece and Jimmy Alligood, brother, Wayne Hill, son, Derek Hill and great grandson, Jaxon Reineke. Mr. Hill passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Fairview Park Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Hill, daughter, Jessica Jacobson (James), stepchildren, Dawn Snow (Kenny) and Lance Padgett (Nichole), grandchildren, Brooke Seymore, Aiden Jacobson, Makayla Jacobson, Chase Ellis, Spencer Coile, Morgan Brown (Garrett), Elaina Snow, Austin Padgett and Brittany Padgett, sister, Angie Edge, brothers, Randy Hill (Wendy) and Greg Bolger, nieces, Chrissi O'Neal (Ryan) and Katie Edge, nephews, Kyle Hill, Gabe Bolger, Chris O'Larte (Kam) and Amanda O'Larte.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Coile, Austin Padgett, Ricky Owens, Gary McCord, Frankie Surine and Payton O'Neal. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Dublin City Fire Department.
Social Distancing guidelines will be in effect and mask are recommended by those attending.
