Michael Marsden Poole

Funeral services for Michael Marsden Poole, age 67 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 9, 2016 at East Dublin Dayspring Worship Center, with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Kenny Rowland will officiate. Mr. Poole was born on September 24, 1949 in Swainsboro, Georgia. He was the son of the late Thomas Brian Poole, Sr. and Lucille Watson Poole. He was preceded in death by his daughter Karen Denise Poole. He was a truck driver. He served in the United States Army Reserve. Mr. Poole passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Mr. Poole is survived by his loving wife, Janice Evans Poole of Pelzer, SC, 2 sons, Michael Curtis Poole of Dublin, Jeffery Kip Poole of Dublin, 2 daughters, Kimberly Sue Rowland of Dublin, and Kristi Marie Poole of Dublin, a stepmother, Lois Poole of Wrightsville, 3 stepsons, Derrick Teague of Virginia Beach, VA, Brian Teague of Pelzer, SC, and Jason Mullis of Midway, a stepdaughter, Jamie Cleveland of Moonville, SC, a brother, Hugh Poole of Cave Spring, 2 sisters, Sandra Sumner of Dublin, and Jeannie Soles of Dublin, 2 stepsisters, Kathy Foskey of Scott, and Becky Lindsey of Wrightsville, and several grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jason Soles, Clayton Soles, Chris Sumner, Randy Sumner, Timmy Sumner, and Andy Sumner. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
