Minnie Evelyn Chalker

Funeral services for Minnie Evelyn Fulford Chalker, age 86 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 26, 2018 at Resurrection Church of God, with interment to follow at Northview Cemetery. Rev. Hugh Spivey will officiate. Mrs. Chalker was born October 24, 1931 in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Eulie Mae and Minnie Lee Kittrell Fulford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Chalker, 2 sons, William Chalker and Freddie Chalker, a daughter, Betty Aikins, and by her grandson, Danny Gordon Chalker, Jr. She was a member of Resurrection Church of God. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Chalker passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Shamrock Nursing Home and Rehab. Mrs. Chalker is survived by her 2 sons, James David Chalker of Dublin, and Danny Gordon Chalker of Aiken, SC, 2 daughters, Janice Abel of Homerville, and June Brown of East Dublin, a brother, Johnnie Fulford of East Dublin, 15 grandchildren and 49 great –grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Frankie Chalker, Joe Francis, Dakota Silvers, Billy Francis, William Chalker and Terry Ricks. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
