Morris T. Riner, Jr.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Morris T. Riner, Jr., age 101, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Corinth United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Veal officiating. Mr. Riner was born September 11, 1914 in the Meeks Community of Johnson County; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Morris T. Riner, Sr. and Vianna Woods Riner. He was a member of Corinth United Methodist Church and the Anderson Masonic Lodge where he served as a mason for 70 years. He was also a self-employed farmer. Mr. Riner passed away Friday, October 16, 2015. He is survived by two sons, Morris T. Riner, III and Howard Francis Riner both of Kite, a daughter, Carolyn Joiner of Soperton, seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
