Norma Dixon

Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Lee Dixon, age 75, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 9, 2014 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Dixon was born December 8, 1938 in Cadwell, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Golden Jackson & Lilly Mae Pearl Mathis Jackson, her husband, Alfred Dixon, Jr., a son, Jimmy Dixon and a sister, Gloriatean Brown. She was a member of Lighthouse Church of God and was a homemaker. Mrs. Dixon passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014. She is survived by her sons, Wendell (Jeannette) Dixon of East Dublin and Tommy (Martha) Dixon of Forsyth, a daughter, Barbara Herndon of Rentz, a brother, Donnie Jackson of Dublin, two sisters, Mary Hightower and Berlyn Lewis both of Dublin, 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday August 7, 2014 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Dixon, Kirk Register, Jerry Herndon, Billy Dixon, Randy Brown and Timmy Brown. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
