Norma Jean Ostler

Graveside funeral Services for Mrs. Norma Jean Preston Ostler, age 88 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Mr. Thurmon Foskey will officiate. Mrs. Ostler was born on October 30, 1926 in Groveport, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Walter D. and Helen Pert Osborne. She was also preceded in death by her husband's, Dorwin "Bud" Preston, and Lewis Ostler, a son, David Preston, and a grandson, Adam Joseph Preston. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church in Ohio. She was retired from the State of Ohio Unemployment Office. Mrs. Ostler passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Shamrock Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Ostler is survived by her son, William "Bill" (Sue) Preston of Dublin, a brother, Jack Osborne, 2 sisters, June Koone and Iona Hemrod, and 4 grandchildren, Patrick (Lisa) Preston, Cristy Preston Owens, Jennifer Preston Smith and Amy Preston Wilson. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
