Oreta Johnson Crabb

Funeral services for Mrs. Oreta Johnson Crabb, age 94 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 3, 2017 at Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Doug Bridges and Rev. James Covington will officiate. Mrs. Crabb was born on May 25, 1922 in Johnson County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Carlos V. and Penny Haywood Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, E. Herman Crabb, and 5 siblings, Vernon (Sam) Johnson, Rollie Johnson, Van Buren Johnson, Doris Copeland, and Bernice Fulford. She was retired from Oxford Manufacturing in Dublin. She was a member of the Dublin First Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Crabb passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Dublinair Nursing Home and Rehab. Mrs. Crabb is survived by her 4 sons, Darwin (Margaret) Crabb of Dublin, Danny (Regina) Crabb of Rincon, Randall (Pam) Crabb of Charleston, SC, and Kenny Crabb of Charleston, SC, a brother, Harold (Ginny) Johnson of Ft. Myers, FL, 11 grandchildren, Greg (Rose) Crabb, Jeff Crabb, Jason (Jennifer) Jordan, Jennifer Rogers, Joseph (Chastity) Crabb, Pete (Dianna) Jump, Michele (Phillip) Mulling, Carla (Chris) Litchfield, Angie(Greg) Kitchens and Nicole (Barry) Newman, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Greg Crabb, Phillip Mulling, Cole Morris, Chris Litchfield, Dylan Litchfield, Cody Crabb, and Jeff Crabb. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
