Oscar Lopez Elizondo

Funeral services for Oscar Lopez Elizondo, age 70 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Sunday, June 2, 2019 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Father Stephen Pontzer will officiate. Mr. Elizondo was born January 2, 1949 in Linares, nl Mexico. He was the son of the late Elpidio Lopez Rios and Octavia Elizondo Pacheco. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Amelia M. Lopez. He has lived in Laurens County for the past 30 years after moving here from Mexico. He is a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was self-employed with Lopez Pinestraw. Mr. Lopez passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Elizondo is survived by his 6 sons, Cesar M. Lopez, Oscar L. Lopez, Misael Lopez, Javier Lopez, Oscar Lopez, and Daniel Lopez; 4 daughters, Bertha Lopez, Maribel Lopez, Martha Leticia Lopez, and Noelia Lopez;7 brothers, Baldemar Sanchez, Arturo Sanchez, Guadalupe Sanchez, Jorge Martinez, Eleazar Martinez, Francisco Martinez; and Cesar Martinez; 5 sisters, Elva Sanchez, Rosario Sanchez, Dolores Santillan, Criselda Montana, and Maria Concepcion Sanchez; 24 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 8:00 P.M. Saturday, June 1, 2019 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
