Patricia Diane Smith

Funeral services for Patricia Diane Bracewell Smith, age 71 will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Rev. Calvin Halcomb will officiate. Mrs. Smith was born on October 14, 1946 in Cadwell, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Homer Vance and Malbra Opal Rayfield Bracewell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Doice Smith. She was the owner of Smith Cabinet Company in Cadwell. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing softball and playing on the Bowling League. Mrs. Smith passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Smith was survived by her 2 sons, Dwayne Edward (Sherry) Smith of Dudley, and Dale (Cindy) Smith of Cadwell, a brother, Randall (Gladys) Bracewell of Dublin, 5 grandchildren, Erin Smith (Josh) Raley, Holly Smith, Victoria Smith, Kayla Smith (Brandon) Greene, and Lane Smith, and 3 great-grandchildren, Audrey Rose Raley, Jax Greene, and Kanon Greene, 2 step- grandchildren, Dusty Yawn and Kristy Yawn, 2 brothers-in-law, and 3 sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Diane Smith of Cadwell, Betty Smith of Murfreesboro, TN, and Clark and Shirley Burch of Helena, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Tony Gay, Billy Raley, Josh Raley, Johnny Fowler, Chris Bryant, Lane Smith and Jeffery Coleman. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
