Patricia Anne Hightower

Memorial services for Patricia Anne Hightower, age 77, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Sammy Hall will officiate.

Anne was born on December 15, 1948, in North Carolina. She retired from the accounting department at Central State Hospital. She attended Liberty Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade Loftin Mimbs, Jr. and Maggie Monroe Mimbs; her son, Larry Brown, Jr. (#72); and her brother, Wade Mimbs, III. Anne passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Fairview Park Hospital.

Anne was known for her loving and outgoing personality. She loved Georgia football, her toy poodles, and being “Granny Anne”. She loved to cook huge meals for her family all while having her hair and nails done. Go Dawgs!

She is survived by her husband, Thomas “Tom” Hightower of Wrightsville; son, Jason Rich (Alissa) of Tallahassee, FL; daughter, Michele Clay (Mike) of Dexter; stepchildren, Heather Hightower and Justin Hightower of Wrightsville; sister, Bonnie Mimbs West of Adrian; grandchildren, Preslee Pugh, Cortnee Bryant, Reagan Rich, Peyton Rich, Harrison Rich, Jackson Rich, Trojan Stapleton, Carley Stapleton, and Isaiah Martin; and great grandchildren, Asher, Brynn and Carter Pugh, Brantlee Fleming, and Beckham Bryant.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel.
