Paul Dewayne Hobbs

Funeral services for Paul Dewayne Hobbs, age 72 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 28, 2025, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow with Military Honors at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Bobby Hutto will officiate.

Mr. Hobbs was born September 4, 1952, in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late James Edward Hobbs, Sr. and Lavert Alligood Hobbs. He proudly served his country in the United States Army until retirement. Mr. Hobbs passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center.

Mr. Hobbs is survived by his son, Paul (Deanna) Hobbs of Loganville; a daughter, Amy Hobbs Carpenter of Dublin; 2 brothers, Neil (Judy) Hobbs of Chester and Mickey Hobbs of Newnan; 2 sisters, Ondrea (Prett Smith) Greene of Dublin; and Diane (Danny) Ikner of Dublin; 6 grandchildren, Jordan May, Logan May, Jaden Carpenter, Ariel Carpenter, William Hobbs, and Sarah Hobbs; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM Monday, July 28, 2025, at the funeral home.
