Paulette "Polly" Brookins Mullis

Funeral services for Mrs. Paulette "Polly" Brookins Mullis, age 72 will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Marie Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Cole Morris and Dr. Joel Dent will officiate. Mrs. Mullis was born on November 30, 1942 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Alonzo Brookins and Elizabeth Rozar Watson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Mullis, her stepfather, Willard Watson, a son, Joseph V. Davidson, and a brother, Donald G. Brookins. She was retired from Forstmann and J.P. Stevens, and was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and working in her flower gardens. Mrs. Mullis passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015. Mrs. Mullis is survived by her 3 daughters, Charlotte (Reggie) McCullars of Dublin, Patricia (Jerry) Drew of Dublin, and Brenda Woodard of Columbus, a half-brother, Ray (Nancy) Watson, and a half-sister, Rita-Diane (Charles) Wynn of Dublin, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, special friends, Mae and Wayne Hughes, Kay Bozeman, and Joy Brookins. Pallbearers will be Chad Clements, Ryan McCullars, Adam McCullars, Mark Soles, Eric Giddens, and Wayne Hughes. The family will receive friends at the home of Jerry and Patricia Drew at 367 Louis Parker Road, Dublin, Georgia 31021 and from 1:00 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
