Peggy Ann Mcphail

Graveside funeral service for Peggy Ann McPhail, age 91, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 27, 2021, in Northview Cemetery with Mr. Thurmon Foskey officiating. Ms. McPhail was born on February 5, 1930, in Wrightsville, Georgia. Peggy was a past member of the Xi Beta Xi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and worked for the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center as an LPN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter C. and Leslie Tickle, one brother, Carl Tickle, and husbands, Edward Wilkes and Robert "Bob" McPhail. Ms. McPhail passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Twelve Oaks Senior Living. Ms. McPhail is survived by her daughters, Margaret Diane Moorman and Patricia Ann "Patsy" Lindsey (Kenneth), stepsons, Stevie McPhail (Susan), Robert McPhail (Kathy), and Michael McPhail (Sherri), grandchildren, Dana Mullis (Paul), Scott Lindsey (Monica), Kyle Lindsey, and Eric Moorman (Jennifer), great grandchildren, Ella Moorman, Dakota Wilkes Lindsey (Jenn), Marri Mullis, Kelton Mullis, Rayna Lindsey, Cheyenne Lindsey, and Emma Moorman, and great great-grandchildren, Beau Lindsey and Caine Lindsey. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Scott Lindsey, D.W. Lindsey, Paul Mullis, and Kelton Mullis. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
