Peggy Garrett Price

Graveside services for Peggy Garrett Price, 87, will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Ivey Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Roger Holley and grandson Russ Tanner officiating.

Mrs. Price was born on December 13, 1934, in Wrightsville, Georgia, attended New Home School and was a 1952 graduate of Wrightsville High School. She was a member of Ivey Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was active in the WMU. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton R. "Bo" and Cecil Pullen Garrett, brothers, Bobby Garrett, and Thomas Ray Garrett. Mrs. Price passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at her residence.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Edward "Ed" M. Price of Wrightsville, son, Roger (Carol) Price of Wrightsville, daughters, Patty Graybill, Kim (Edd) Tanner of Wrightsville, and Lisa (Randy) McCarty of Harrison, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, many cousins, and special extended family, including Pruitt Hospice members, Phyllis Harmon, Shirley Scott, Angela Brown, and Hazel Poole.

Pallbearers will be Russ Tanner, Chase Howell, Gary Price, Jerry Howell, Ron Bray, and McCoy Wheeler.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
