Philip Anderson Moye

Graveside services for Mr. Philip Anderson Moye, age 79, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in Westview Cemetery with Rev. Chris Mitchell and Mr. Ralph Veal officiating. Mr. Moye was born on March 26, 1941 in Wrightsville, Georgia to the late Robert and Rosa Mae Moye. Mr. Moye was a retired security clerk for Southeast Paper. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where he served as deacon and Assistant Sunday School Superintendent. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball and football teams for many years. Mr. Moye passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 in Addington Place of Dublin. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Brown Moye of Wrightsville, his son, Dr. Philip Kevin Moye (Tricia) of Grayson, and his five grandchildren, James Moye (fiancé Katie), Jonathan Moye, Rebecca Moye, Olivia Moye, and Bethany Graham. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:45: P.M. at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ben Moye, Bobby Moye, Stan Garnto, Scotty Garnto, Nicky Benton, and Brad Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Moye, Bob Moye and Allan Moye. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel in charge of the funeral arrangements.
