Phillip Wesley Shiver

Graveside services for Phillip Wesley Shiver, age 77, will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jay Moore will officiate.

Mr. Shiver was born on June 24, 1946, in Dublin, Georgia. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was the owner of Quality Septic Tank. He enjoyed cooking and fishing with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Vance Shiver and Willie Lou Scarbrough Shiver; siblings, Billy Shiver, Vance Shiver and Edna Powell; and great granddaughter, Paislee Claire. Mr. Shiver passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Fairview Park Hospital.

He is survived by his wife JoAnne Shiver of East Dublin; daughter, Cami Shiver of East Dublin; 3 sons, Phillip Wesley Shiver, II of Milledgeville, Phillip Lee Shiver and Camden Lee Shiver of East Dublin; 2 stepsons, Josh Walker of Dublin and Jordie Crow of Atlanta; lifetime friend, Sandra Shiver; 2 sisters, Glenda Edge and Rita Brown of Dublin; brother, Glen Shiver of Dublin; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
