Phyllis Rose Blizzard

Mrs. Phyllis Rose Blizzard, age 85, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015. Mrs. Blizzard was born October 25, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late John and Rose Jakubicek Ziola. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church and the Johnson County Pilot Club. She was also the owner operator of the Feedbag Drive-In. She is survived by her husband, Harvey Franklin Blizzard of Wrightsville, her children, Jan Marie (Ricky) Sandman of Wonder Lake, IL, Michael Henry (Sylvia) Bassaloff of Aurora, IL, Patrick Lee (Deborah) Bassaloff of Deepstep, GA, William (Michelle Diamond) Blizzard of Elk Grove Village, IL, and David (Lynda) Slee of Tinley Park, IL, a brother, John (Dee) Ziola of Rockford, IL, her grandchildren, Bryan Louzensky, Kevin Louzensky, Michelle Tindall, Candace Bassaloff, Brittany Bassaloff, Steven Bassaloff, Kasey Woods, Mitchell Blizzard, Michael Blizzard, Jeremy Blizzard, Adam Shermerhorn, Olivia Shermerhorn and John Michael Kennedy and 18 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at New Home Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
