Phyllis Ann Reece

Phyllis Ann Reece, age 74, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, surrounded by family at Southland Nursing Home in Dublin.

Ms. Reece was born October 22, 1951, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late Bernard Nitzel and Edna Duis Nitzel. She proudly served her country in the United States Navy. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Ms. Reece is survived by her 2 sons, Michael Reece of Maine and Ian Reece of Wrightsville; a daughter, Kellie Eads of Knoxville, TN; a brother, Robert (Victoria) Nitzel of Davenport, IA; and 2 sisters, Donna Crum of CA and Shirley (Kevin) Mital of Moline, IL; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

The family will have a private celebration of life service at a later date.
