Ralph Deal

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Ralph Deal, age 81, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, 1132 Harts Ford Road, Tennille, Georgia. Mr. Deal was born August 11, 1933 in Johnson County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Inman & Irene Deal and his foster parents, George & Julia Deal. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for many years at Georgia Kraft's Macon plant before opening his own business, Deal Automotive "The Buggy Place", which he operated for over 20 years. He was an avid off-road enthusiast, participating in and winning many dune buggy races and was a charter member of the Dixie Duners Dune Buggy Club. Mr. Deal passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Cherry Oliver Deal, a son, Brandon Ralph Deal, two daughters, Amy Deal Truelove and Melanie Deal Pallatt all of Macon, three grandchildren, Jeff Pallatt, Julie Pallatt Bonebrake and Mackenzie Truelove, two great-grandchildren, and his former wife, Doris Adams Deal. He was also loved by many other family members and friends. The family will greet friends following the service at the family residence, 5817 Thomaston Road, Macon, Georgia. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
