Ray Dollar

Funeral services for Ray Dollar, age 67 will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Thurmon Foskey will officiate. Mr. Dollar was born on July 16, 1948 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Hubert Van and Beatrice Logue Dollar. He was a retired truck driver for Dollar Brothers Farms. He was a member of the Wrightsville United Methodist Church Circuit. Mr. Dollar passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Serenity Place. Mr. Dollar is survived by his 2 sons, Bobby (Carla) Dollar of Dublin, and Brad (Alison) Dollar of Dublin, a daughter, Marcie Dickerson of Dublin, a brother, Van (Carliss) Dollar of Dublin, and 7 grandchildren, Matthew Townsend, Daniel Dollar, Jaylon Townsend, Allison Dollar, Michaela Dollar, Madison Bell, and Devin Dollar. Pallbearers will be Daniel Dollar, Devin Dollar, Jaylon Townsend, Matthew Townsend, Jim Pharis, and Bert Dollar. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey Williams, Bobby Santana, and Joe Herndon. The family will receive friends from 1:45 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
