Raymond Dennis Tate

Raymond Dennis Tate, age 78, of Wrightsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Greenwood Place. Mr. Tate was born on October 12, 1942 in Rutherfordton, NC and raised in Mooresboro, NC. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force and retired from Robins AFB. He loved his home, farm, family, friends, and all creatures great and small. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Virginia Tate. He is survived by Larinda, his wife of 42 years, brother Dan (Patsy) Tate, nephew Brian (Cindy) Weathers, niece Jessica (Josh) Montjoy all of Woodruff, SC, special cousins Cindy Stratton of Newnan and Edward McCurry of Ellenboro, NC, many other cousins, great nieces and nephews, beloved friends, Tina Dixon, Pam Altman and Rita East and many treasured pets. Special thanks to Samantha Harden for your kindness, love, and care over the years. Raymond will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
