Reda Mae Phillips

Funeral services for Mrs. Reda Mae Phillips, age 98, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the Richard N. Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Roger Holley will officiate. Mrs. Phillips was born December 8, 1917 in Wrightsville, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Preston & Mattie Martin Burns, her husband of 72 years, Willie Arter Phillips and a daughter, Janice Phillips Graves. She was a member of Buckeye Christian Church and was retired from Apparelcraft Industries. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family dearly. Mrs. Phillips passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016. She is survived by her sons, David (Peggy) Phillips of Warner Robins, Joe (Sandra) Phillips of Macon and Murray Phillips of Wrightsville, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Buckeye Christian Church, c/o Judy Phillips, 2606 New Buckeye Road, Wrightsville, Georgia 31096. Pallbearers will be Doug Graves, Marty Phillips, Joey Phillips, Rob Phillips, Joseph Daniel and Sean Bohannon. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
