Reva Viola Amerson

Funeral services for Reva Viola Amerson, age 72 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 18, 2019 at Oakdale Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Greg Lowery will officiate. Mrs. Amerson was born February 12, 1947 in Cadwell, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Alfred Ballard and Mettie Smith Gay. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Floyd Gay. She was the owner/operator of Amerson Upholstery. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and an amazing WaWa to her four grandchildren. Mrs. Amerson passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at Grady Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Amerson is survived by her husband, Earl Amerson of Macon, 2 sons, Toby (Karon) Amerson of Macon, and Tim (Amanda) Amerson of Dublin, a sister, Jeanette (Jeff) Bracewell of Dublin, and 4 grandchildren, Chase Amerson, Brooke Amerson, Kasey Amerson, and Caleb Amerson. Pallbearers will be Caleb Amerson, Kenneth Amerson, Cody Gay, Cullen Gay, Grant Gordon, and Chad Burch. The family will receive friends Monday, March 18, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Oakdale Baptist Church. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
