Richard Leonard Claxton

Mr. Richard Leonard Claxton, age 65, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mr. Claxton was born September 16, 1958, in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He was preceded in death by his brother; David Claxton and his stepfather; Jerry McCoy. He was a self-employed truck driver.

Mr. Claxton is survived by his wife, Debra Claxton of Adrian; his parents, Valda "Bull" Claxton and Ernestine Duke Claxton of Wrightsville; 2 sons, Jason (April) Claxton of Adrian, and Keith (Candice) Claxton of Adrian; 2 sisters, Patty (Chris) Dollar of Wrightsville, and Teresa Claxton of Lovett; a mother-in-law, Ermie Foskey of Adrian; and 5 grandchildren, Taylor (Adam Hooks) Claxton, Hunter Claxton, Jullian Claxton, Aiden Claxton, MaKalyn Claxton, and Bryston Claxton.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. The family will be meeting at the residence of Keith and Candice Claxton at 1566 Smith Chapel Road, Adrian, GA 31002.
