Richard Stephen Wells

A public visitation for Richard Stephen Wells, age 66 will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel.

Mr. Wells was born May 29, 1960, in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late William Francis Wells. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Frances Ussery. He was the owner of Steve’s Tree Service. Mr. Wells passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta.

Mr. Wells is survived by his mother, Lula M. Wells of Dublin; a daughter, Maleiah Wells of Eastman; 2 brothers, Clayton Wells (Sherry) of Mount Vernon and Mike Wells of Dublin; a sister, Belinda Smith of Warner Robins; a grandson, Dalex Wells of Eastman; a long-time work brother, Chuck Johnson of Dublin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
