Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Robbie Mae Reese Sumner, 79, entered into Heaven's gates on Friday, Oct 4, 2019. The funeral will be held on Sunday, Oct 6 at 3:00 pm at Garden of Prayer Assembly of God Church, Hwy 15 Adrian. Rev. Bobby Miller, Rev. Ray Gillis and Brenda Gillis will officiate. Burial will be at Kea's Methodist Church (Adrian). The Family will receive friends Saturday, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Stanley Funeral Home (Dublin). Robbie Mae was born Feb, 25, 1940 in Adrian, GA., the daughter of the late Mary Dowd and Charles Reese. Pallbearers serving their loving grandmother will be Alan Sumner, Justin Sumner, Corey Hall, Josh Powell, Dustin Hall, Brent Hall, Dawson Brooks, Josh Warren, Patrick Mimbs, Michael Wells and Jared Wells. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Ladies Sunday School Class at Trinity Assembly of God. Robbie Mae was proceeded in death by her husband, Rev. Jimmy R Sumner, parents, Mary Dowd and Charlie Reese, sister, Elizabeth Reese Bennett, brother Leroy Reese, brother-in-laws Jerry Sumner, Harry Soles and AD Shephard. Left to cherish her memories are her seven children, Kelly (Dale) Powell, Adrian, Ga, Dean (Lora) Sumner, Adrian, Ga, Rickey (Valerie) Sumner, Dublin, Ga, Melissa (Stan) Hall, Fayetteville, Ga, Joy Sumner, Adrian, Ga, Daryl (Penny) Sumner, Adrian, Ga and Pam (Steven) Brooks, Rentz, Ga. grandchildren: Candi (Dave) Barry, Alan (Miki) Sumner, Holly (Michael) Moseley, Justin (Jessica) Sumner, Corey (Britney) Hall, Josh Powell, Dustin Hall, Dana (Hunter) Davis, Brent (Ariel) Hall, Mikayla Sumner, Bridget, Taylor and Dawson Brooks. Tasha (Jason) Giles, Josh (Kacy) Warren, Patrick (Elaine) Mimbs, Matthew (Tiffany) Hedge, Michael, Jared and Samantha Wells and 21 great-grandchildren. sister, Annalene McNeil, Wrightsville, Ga, two brothers, Carl (Betty) Reese, Charles (Faye) Reese, sister-in-laws, Betty Sue Shephard, Thomaston, Ga; Shirley Sumner, Dublin, Ga, Barbara Ann (Autry) Brantley, Wrightsville, Ga; Betty Reese, Thomaston, Ga. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
