Robert "Wayne" Jones

Robert Wayne Jones, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at his residence.

Wayne was born on July 1, 1957, in Meridian, Mississippi. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, where he was a communications engineer and retired as a Master Sergeant. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and his vegetable garden. He loved cooking and spending time with his family. He will be remembered fondly for his humor, kindness and loving spirit.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Suzanne Jones of East Dublin; son, Robert Benjamin Jones of Melbourne, FL; daughter, Amanda Jones of Atlanta; sister, Amy Vaughn of Lawrence, MS; and brother, M. Marvin Jones of Mathews, VA.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
