Robert Loren Lewis

Robert Loren Lewis, "Ra", was born on born on August 30, 1941 in Alabama to the late Loren P. and Annie Mae Lewis. Robert was preceded in death by his ex-wife and best friend, Bertha Darley Lewis. Together they raised a family, Robert was the founder of Lewis Contracting Corporation. Construction was his passion as well as his family. Robert was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend. Robert was a well-known member of the community. He was a member of the Laurens county moose lodge and also a member of Pleasant Springs Baptist Church. Robert passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. He is survived by his children, Kirk (Lorri) Lewis, Tim Lewis, and Tonya Lewis of Dublin. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren - - Jessica Lewis, Matt Lewis, Lauren Hebert (Adam), Cody Lewis, Courtney Herrin (John Marshall), Lindsey Brodrick (Stewart Jr.), Whitney Horton, and Nick Lewis. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren – Indie Rhae Horton, John Wyatt Herrin, Loren Worth Adam Hebert, and Samuel Brodrick. The funeral will be graveside March 4, 2021, 12:00, at Memorial Gardens in Dublin, GA with Rev. Curtis Warnock officiating. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
