Robert Sellars

Funeral services Mr. Robert Lynn Sellars, age 86, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Richard N. Stanley Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Hugh Spivey will officiate. Mr. Sellars was born December 31, 1932 in Dublin, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Robert "Bob" Sellars and Lena Ruth Holmes Sellars and his wife, Sammy Geraldine Warren Sellars. He was retired from J.P. Stevens and Forstmann, where he worked for 32 years in maintenance and as a security guard. Mr. Sellars passed away, Wednesday January 9, 2019 at his home. He is survived by his children, Sharon "Glenn Tanner" Price of East Dublin, Robert "Rhonda" Sellars of Rincon, Lynn "Pam" Sellars of Eastman and Edward "Nancy" Sellars of Green Bay, Wisconsin, nine grandchildren, Shannon Price, Jason (Christin) Price, Allen Tanner, Hannah (Austin) Freeman, Sara Sellars, Millie Sellars, Terry Sellars, Dairien Sellars and Rohan "Stephanie" Sellars and seven great-grandchildren, Landyn Price, Makayla Mead, Bradley Sellars, Brintley Sellars, Allison Sellars, Damien Bell and Liam Sellars. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions, in memory of Mr. Sellars, be made to Serenity Hospice, 520 Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, Georgia 31021 Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
