Robert Thornton Tuttle, Sr.

Mr. Robert Thornton Tuttle, Sr., age 88, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Mr. Tuttle was born on February 18, 1938, in Miami, Florida. He was the son of the late Robert Fulton Tuttle and Hattie Lee Wallace Tuttle. He was a retired truck driver for 65 years. He served in the Georgia National Guard. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mr. Tuttle is survived by his wife, Marylee Mahnke Tuttle; 2 sons, Robert Thornton Tuttle, Jr. and Charles William Tuttle; 4 daughters, Robin Elizabeth Tuttle, Virginia “Ginger” Leola Tuttle, Shannon Lee Tuttle, and Sandra Michelle “Sandie” Tuttle; and 9 grandchildren.

Mr. Tuttle’s wishes were to be memorialized through cremation. There are no services scheduled at this time.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of the funeral arrangements.
