Rockey Lee Pounds

Memorial services for Rockey Lee Pounds, age 33, will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Grace Harbour Church International, 17225 Hwy 441, McIntyre, Ga., with Rev. Karen Harrison officiating.

Mr. Pounds was born on February 13, 1990, in Dublin, Ga. He was a heavy equipment operator for United Earthworks. He enjoyed loud music and fast cars. He is preceded in death by his brother, Rusty Pounds; grandfathers, Billy Grimes and Lee Brannen; uncle, Charles Grimes; and his Big Mama and Big Daddy. Mr. Pounds passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at his residence.

He is survived by his parents, Randy and Teresa Pounds of Kite; sister, Tiffany Ann Johnson (Charles) of Adrian; grandmothers, Alma Boyett (Jimmy) and Sara Brannan; grandfather, Jimmy Pounds; nieces, Willow Johnson, McKenzie Johnson and Kailey Johnson; nephew, Cooper Johnson; and several aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be The Gideons International or a charity of the donor's choice.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
