Ronald Wayne Stanley

Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Wayne Stanley, age 76 will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23, 2016 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Coopers Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Thurmon Foskey will officiate. Mr. Stanley was born on September 16, 1939 in Durham, NC. He was the son of the late Willie Oneal Stanley and Mary Ruth Haywood Pankey. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Ila Stanley, and a sister, Iris Warwick. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a retired Corrections Officer for the Georgia Department of Corrections. He was a previous Past Master of Gordon Masonic Lodge. Mr. Stanley passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Stanley is survived by his wife, Rachel Dean Everidge Stanley of Cadwell, 3 sons, R. Wayne Stanley of Cadwell, Charles Stanley of Chester, VA, and Andy Stanley of Hopewell, VA, 2 stepsons, Ricky Calvert of Milledgeville, and Chuck Adams of Haddock, a stepdaughter, Tonya Calvert of Milledgeville, 2 sisters, Sandy Miles of Lexington, SC, and Mary Sue Burns of Milledgeville,10 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:45 P.M. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
