Funeral service for Ronnie Lamar Brantley, age 66 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Mark Hardin will officiate. Seating will be limited due to the 50-capacity rule by the CDC on funeral service, but there will overflow in the social hall for friends that attend.
Mr. Brantley was born March 11, 1954 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Martin Lamar Brantley and Eugenia Smith Brantley Bracewell. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Betty McDonald, and Sharon Mullis. He owned his own business Brantley Plumbing and Electrical for 25 years where he was a state licensed plumber and electrician. He retired in 2019 after being an independent contractor as an inspector for various insurance companies. He enjoyed spending time with his family whom he loved very much and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Poplar Springs United Methodist Church. Mr. Brantley passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 at his residence surrounded by family.
Mr. Brantley is survived by his wife, Jan Hutcheson Brantley of Adrian, a son, Shannon J. (Frannie) Brantley of Vidalia, 2 daughters, Trixie R. (Jamey) Scott of Adrian, and Cherri N. (Johnathan) Johnson of Swainsboro, a brother, Autry (Barbara Ann) Brantley of Wrightsville, 2 sisters, Linda Hadden of Swainsboro, and Nan (Tony) Fusinato of Kathleen, 8 grandchildren, Jaron Scott, Braden Scott, Colton Scott, Haygen Brantley, Kayden Brantley, Brogen Brantley and Nathan Tucker Johnson, Emma Grace Scott.
Pallbearers will be Carl Green, Jack Williams, John Webb, Wade Webb, Tommy Webb, and Todd Webb.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Brantley to Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Building Fund C/O Barbara Webb HWY 86, Adrian, GA 31002.
