Rosalyn Elizabeth Locke

Graveside funeral services for Rosalyn Elizabeth Couey Locke, age 85 will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Dublin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until funeral hour at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Larry Little will officiate. Mrs. Locke, a native of Laurens County. She was retired from Southern Bell in 1986, with over 35 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents Clem T. and Estelle Woodard Couey, husband, William Stanley Locke, Sr. and siblings; Clarenda Couey, Evonise McLeod, Eugene Couey, Offie Couey, and T. O. Couey. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. Mrs. Locke passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Milledgeville. Survivors include three children, Stan (Denise) Locke of Milledgeville, GA, Cathy (Kenny) Weldon, LeeAnn (Leon) Horne of Dublin, GA. Five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and two special friends, Betty Barbee, and Rosalyn Smith of Dublin. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Olivet Baptist Church Building Fund at 1689 GA Highway 19 South, Dublin, GA 31021. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
