Roy Mosley

Funeral services for Roy Mosley, age 83 will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Cornerstone Assembly of God, with interment to follow at Northview Cemetery. Pastor Phillip Bruce will officiate. Mr. Mosley was born February 9, 1938 in Lyons, Georgia. He was the son of the late Clinton Lee and Lucille Rebecca Hall Mosley. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Carl Mosley and Rebecca Curry. He was a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force where he received the Meritorious Service Award. He was a retired Senior Purchasing Agent from Union Camp Corportation after working 32 years and 2 months. He was a member of the Laurens County Board of Commissioners. Mr. Mosley passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Mosley is survived by his nieces, Melissa (Jess) Booth of Bedford, VA, Gerri (Ben) Ruple of East Dublin, Jeannie Miller of Dublin, and Melanie (Lamar) Cox of Tallahassee, FL, 2 nephews, Daniel Mosley of Newnan, and Joseph (Lallie) Mosley of Tallahassee, FL, and many grand nieces and nephews, and great-grand nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Landon Miller, Ray Roberts, Travis Craft, Kasey Loyd, Cameron Mimbs, and Russ Mills. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesse Booth, Ben Ruple, Mark Roberts, Daniel Mosley, and Joseph Mosley. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Mosley to the Alzheimer's Foundation of Georgia at act.alz.org . Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
