Roy Beeman Price

Mr. Roy Beeman Price, 91, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mr. Price was born on April 6, 1929 in Brickyard, Alabama. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Dublin Elks Lodge, The Augusta Boating Club, and Green Acres Golf Club. Mr. Price was an avid golfer and annually attended the Masters Golf Tournament. He enjoyed woodworking and boating. Mr. Price was predeceased by his parents, Lee Roy Price, and Myrtle Thompson Price, a son, Roy Beeman ("Bennie") Price, Jr., a brother, Barney Price, and a brother-in-law, Charles Gray. Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Sevim Becker Price of Dudley (originally from Istanbul, Turkey), sister, Clara Neele Gray of Gulf Breeze, FL, sister-in-law, Flora Price of Pennsylvania, daughter-in-law, Katherine Howerdd Price of Augusta, stepsons, Errol Becker (Kim) of Omaha, NE, and Tim Becker (Kelly) of Milton, stepdaughters, Claudia Becker of Dudley, and Wendy Traylor (John) of Dublin, grandchildren, Roy Beeman ("Tripp") Price III, Miller Price, Andrea Oehm, Dylan Becker, Karson Becker, Marin Becker, Jaime Becker, Molly Traylor, John David Traylor, and Will Traylor. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Dublin/Laurens County Humane Society. Because of Covid-19, no funeral or memorial services are planned at this time. Beeman requested the following message from him be included in his obituary: "To all of my loved ones. I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave a lot of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering down the fairways of happy times and bright and sunny days. I would like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun goes down. Think of happy memories that I leave when life is done."
