Ruth Miller White

Funeral services for Ruth Miller White, age 91, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, in the Richard N. Stanley Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory in Wrightsville, Georgia with burial to follow in Piney Mount Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. David Miller and Rev. Leon Warren officiating.

Mrs. White was born on August 24, 1932, in Wrightsville, Georgia. She had lived in Macon for many years where she was a member of Cross Keys Methodist Church. She worked as a secretary for Columbian Nitrogen and Carden Tile of Macon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira Elmer and Ruby Riner Miller; sisters, Marilyn Screws and Virginia Weimer; brothers, Doyle Miller, Byron Miller and Earl Miller; and her husband, Benny Ray White. Mrs. White passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Greenwood Place in Wrightsville.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Willis of Dublin; son, Richard Alan White (Rhonda) of Macon; two sisters, Wrena Morris (Wayne) of Adrian and Lynn Warren (Leon) of Elizabethtown, NC; two brothers, Loy Miller (Claudette) of Columbia, SC and David Miller (Glynis)of Thomson; four grandchildren, Casey Callaway (Peyton), Heather Cabe, Ric White (Sarah) and Blake White (Courtney); and nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory in Wrightsville.

Pallbearers will be John Miller, Thomas Miller, Casey Callaway, Benton Cabe, Ric White, and Roy Weimer.
